Therese the black and white tux has a truly unique coat even for a Formosan Mountain dog! Spotted white patches make her look almost like a short haired Aussie Shepard! At the age of one year old, Therese is stable and well-behaved. Mastered her potty training and pee pad using, she is a great companion to snuggle and exercise with. She loves playing with dogs, hugging humans, and eating all foods!

Therese was found abandoned on the side of the road, quietly staring at the road, sitting, and waiting for her owner to return. Starved, Therese followed the rescuer’s lead to home and somehow understood her circumstances. She is shy and timid at first, but quickly open up with the presence of food. She plays well with dogs, but gets confused nervous and scared when encountering a whiny noisy child.

Being a Formosan Mountain dog, Therese can be a medium energy at home and keep up an active and demanding lifestyle. Her coat is short and needs minimal grooming, and will only shed seasonally. Because of her lack of confidence around young children, a home with children older than 10 years is recommended.
