    *Cat interactions: At the veterinary clinic, while she was waiting for an examination, there were 8 cats walking around and she didn’t get excited or chase them.

    *Kid Friendly: Sana is very observant, but quite shy. Loud noises and sudden movement will scare her, and she will hid or try someway to avoid it. After becoming familiar with the kids she will take the initiative to approach them.

    *Fear of Men: She will be shy at first with new people, but will warm up over time.

    *Leash Trained: Yes, but a bit skittish near busy roads or loud noises.

    *Dog Friendly: Sana evaluates each dog to see if  they are the right energy level for her, and once she finds one that she connects with, she will invite them to play!

    Sana and her siblings were found in May of 2020. They were weak and all had diarrhea.

    She was taken in by a foster mom and quickly got healthy.

    Sana compared to her siblings is more quiet, cautious and lower energy. She loves to eat and is very food motivated. She enjoys a good roll around on the ground, she is a good companion dog who is also polite.

    Sully’s story starts in Taiwan, where she lived on the streets. It seems like she used to belong to a family, but life wasn’t easy for her. She might have been kept in a crate for a long time, trying to escape by chewing the bars. Eventually, she ended up abandoned, or escaped her harsh life.
    When rescuers found her, Sully was in bad shape. She was skinny, with an injured eye and broken teeth. But despite her rough past, she’s a sweet and loving dog.

    With care and treatment, Sully’s physical wounds healed, but she lost sight in one eye and some of her teeth. However, her kind personality remained unchanged.

    Now, Sully is adjusting to a comfy bed and gentle handling. She’s looking for a home filled with love and patience, where she can be herself. In the beginning though she might need a some help because of her sight.  At times, Sully is ok on her own but she prefers to be close to her hoomans or fellow doggy companion.

    Sully gets along well with other dogs, children. Sully prefers a gentle touch near her head. She’s shown herself to be incredibly clever, picking up commands such as recall quickly; she’s a smart girl who’s eager to learn and play.

    She’s also good at letting you know when she needs to go potty. With her wornderful spirit and curious nature, she’s ready for the next chapter in her life—a forever home where she can be happy and loved.

    Malcom was taken to the Yuanlin public shelter from a Fruit and Vegetable Market as a stray. The rescuer decided to find a foster for him after seeing a post on social media about Malcom. He wasn’t able to go get him for another month, so Malcom stayed in the public shelter for that extra time. When the rescuer did finally meet him, he was surprised at how affectionate Malcom was.

    He’s a good dog, a little clingly, but great personality. He’s a little nervous at the beginning in an unfamiliar environment, but will not run away and hide. Once he meets kind people who feed him yummy food, he is very kind and affectionate to those people.

    He is a medium size dog around 22 kg. Due to his intelligent, sensitive, and active nature , Malcom will do best in a family that has a medium to high energy life style.

    Leela was originally owned by a foreign management worker. But he feared that the other foreign workers in the dormitory liked to eat dogs, so he tried to find someone else to take Leela. It was suggested to leave her in the same place he found her, or take her to an overcrowded shelter. But, eventually someone was found who could foster her. She is so friendly to strangers and happy-go-lucky, that it would be especially sad to see her on the streets.

    Being a Formosan Mountain dog cross, she will grow to a medium size dog around 15kg and of a border collie size. Due to the intelligent, sensitive, and active nature of the breed, Leela will do best in a family that has a medium to high energy life style.

    Rupert was taken to a vet hospital to be neutered at 2 months old. The vet thought that was too young, and while waiting for him to grow older a kind woman inquired about him, and upon learning that he had been found as a stray at a local market, and that the venders at the market were mean toward him, she decided to take him in and foster him. He has since been living in a household with other dogs and a man and woman, and gets along great with them all.

    Rupert seems to have been born with no fears, he is not afraid to play with bigger dogs and he is very quick to want to play, even taking the initiative to play with strangers, which is uncommon for strays with his background.

    Being a Formosan Mountain dog cross, he will grow to a medium size dog around 15-20kg and of a border collie size. Due to the intelligent, sensitive, and active nature of the breed, Rupert will do best in a family that has a medium to high energy life style.
