Raymee was found along with 2 other long hair dachshunds abandoned at the fisherman’s wharf, with 3 large holes on their back. Their implanted microchips were gauged out, so that they can’t be traced back to the owners. Judging from her enlarged breasts and nipples, it is evident that Raymee and others were from the puppy mills, and her vocal cord was removed.

Despite her hard life, Raymee is very affectionate and happy. She can be a little scared in the beginning and would hide in the corners but who can blame her? The world outside of the cage is so new to her. Her personality is coming out more everyday, and she’s just such a sweet heart!

Being a dachshund, Raymee will do best in a home without stairs, and a low energy household that can be around her most of the time during the day. A potential adopter should research the genetic problems of dachshunds and understand what to expect once they go into old age. They should also understand that dachshunds will need careful handling to prevent back injuries. If you are looking for a laid back snuggly loving companion, Raymee can be a perfect fit!

    Pipi

Breed: Short hair Dachshund  Actual Birthday: Jan 26 2018 Gender: Male Weight: 5.4 kg Height (head to toe): 20cm Length (chest to base of tail): 34 cm

*Kid Friendly: Curious towards calmer children. Recommends 10+ children

*Dog Friendly: fine with dogs. Plays well with dog he likes

*Cat Friendly: will approach and sniff

*Fear for Adult Men: Dislike skittish male adult.

    [post_text_body]

Pipi was abandoned by his previous owner. He was obviously neglected and so was malnourished. He only weighed 3.2kg, and his skin had yeast infection, and eyes were infected as well. After he was rescued, Pipi was quickly nourished back to health.

Pipi is extremely affectionate and loves cuddling. We don’t know how he was treated in the previous home, but he treasures food and his space very much, and will guard by barking. He needs a firm person to give him good correction but enough love so he doesn’t turn reactive. Pipi is aware of his petite size and respects large dogs. He will need to learn how to “dog” and socialize. He also will need to learn how to properly display his affection and dealing with men. Pipi will need a patient owner to teach him the manners.

Pipi is very young and still need an appropriate amount of exercise. Being a dachshund, an adopter needs to limit his stairs climbing, and avoids picking him up vertically for the health of his spine.

Roona is the most affectionate out of the 5. Very naive and approachable. She has no problem with kids/cats or other dogs, and this little girl is extremely food driven. Roona deserve a loving/caring home who can start a new chapter of her life!

Deeno was found abandoned at around 1 month old at a quarry. The rescuers saw him and took him in, and planned to neuter him than return. Our foster saw Deeno and thinks he won’t be able to survive on the street being rescued so young, so she subsequently took him in and prepare him for rehoming.

Deeno does very well on leash and is very consistent with his potty. He is quiet and obedient. He takes some time to warm up but is very loving. after he does.

    [post_text_body]

Sherbet was found with his mother behind a car shop in central Taiwan. The rescuer was trapping the mother to spay, but Sherbet keep following her. The car shop owner said his son wanted to keep Sherbet, so the rescuer only brought back Sherbet’s mother. Few days later, the rescuer went back to the shop to see how Sherbet is doing, but he was nowhere to be found. After asking the neighbours, she learned that the son just tethered Sherbet on a pillar outside with a thin plastic strap around his neck. The neighbour didn’t like how Sherbet was treated, so the neighbour hid Sherbet in their home. Our rescuer subsequently took Sherbet in and prepare him for rehoming.

Sherbet is very loving towards people. He loves children, dogs, and everyone. Being a Formosan Mountain Dog, he will grow to around 18kg, and a border collie size. The breed is smart and sensitive, so Sherbet will need a medium to high energy home that can provide him with sufficient mental and physical stimulation.
