Roola is part of a litter of 5, found after the rescuer followed their mother to the den. The rescuer then took the pups and the mother into foster care. They were clearly some kind of terrier cross as they are a scruffy little cuties!

Roola is actually the least scruffy out of the 5, but is the most mischievous. She’s always clever and knows how to push the boundaries! Like the rest of the litter, Roola is extremely friendly and outgoing, and very good with kitties. She’s also extremely food driven, makes obedience training super easy!

Zolie was rescued from the bay side at ChangHua City. Because she was so tiny, rescuers thought she was a puppy. After taking her to the vet, they found out that Zolie must have given birth before. The rescuers were going to put her back to where they found her, but they realized that Zollie is actually very smart. She knows all the basic commands, which proves that she used to have a home. After all considerations, the rescers decided to keep her under foster care.

Zollie can be a little shy in the beginning, but will open up quickly and wag her tail to welcome you. She is very loving, affectionate, and loves tummy rub! She surely deserves a loving home.

On the shyer side and gets spooked by very loud noises. She’s getting better and better each day though. On a more submissive side when playing. Still going through her puppy chewing phase, but it can be managed with chew toys. Loves playing with dogs and is extremely food driven.

Nelly was abandoned at the side of the road. In fear of her being hit by the incoming traffic, the rescuer picked her up. She has been fostered for approximately 3 months in Taiwan.

Nelly is on the shyer side. When strangers come to the home, she will hide at the side and observe first. Once she thinks the stranger is friendly, she will come out and greet.

In Vancouver, she was spooked by an extremely loud motor bike one day, so she’s now working on desensitizing on loud noises. Already made amazing progress and we expect her to get much better very soon.

*Kid Friendly: On the shyer side; but would go and sniff them

*Cat Friendly: Likes to play with certain cats; will leave assertive cats alone

*Fear for Adult Men: On the skittish side. Need to give her some space and time.

*Chewing: Can chew when she’s bored – give enough stimulation

    [post_text_body]

Tweety was found Sep/2018 at the side of the road in the remote area in Central Taiwan. She was only around 3-4 months old. She was quite sick when found, and she had some skin issues as well. After trapping her and giving her the medical attention she needs, Tweety has recovered and has been taken into foster care since Oct/2018.

Tweety is super affectionate, active, and food motivated. She’s quite skittish towards strangers due to lack of socializing during critical periods. She needs to be given time and patience to come out of her shell.

She uses pee pads indoors and if she goes outdoors, she likes to go to a “private area” for her business. In a new environment, she might mostly go potty indoor (on pee pads) and only outdoors when she has gained confidence. Now she has been going outdoors very consistently however, this will need to be worked on in a new family.

Royce and Haylie are strays at the seaside in the Yunlin Prefecture in Taiwan. When the rescuers spotted them, they were scavenging dead fish on the beach. When they see the rescuers, they ran over to greet with happy wagging tails. Royce being a “white sock” black dog and Haylie being a brindle, the rescuer knows that it will be very difficult to rehome them locally. When they were on the queue to fly to a foreign land, they found families in Taiwan! But the happy times didn’t last. They were soon returned for the reason that the kids in the neighborhood is scared of dogs this large; and that they didn’t think they will grow this big. The rescuers took them back right away, and restarting the rehoming process.

Thanks to the previous owners, both Haylie and Royce are very used to living with people. They are well socialized and not skittish. They are affectionate, loyal, friendly and loving!
