*Dog Friendly: Good in offleash dog park. Overly excited when meeting large dogs face to face on leash; Takes some time (10-15 min) to accept new dogs coming into her territory (home)

*Kid Friendly: Friendly as long as they don’t stroke her back end excessively

    *Cat Friendly: Not cat friendly

*Barking: Mostly at dogs otherwise quiet

    [post_text_body]

She’s super loving and not skittish towards people. She would come in with a headbutt to say hi, and is quiet and potty trained. She is very people friendly and is good with calmer children. Perhaps it is due to her previous injuries in her hips, she dislikes prolonged petting/stroking on her back end. For this reason, it is best that she lives with children who are mature enough to understand this – if she must live with some children. She’s very independent but likes cuddling. Juicy is a little bit like a cat in this regard – she doesn’t like it when a large arm swing across her to hug her in bed. Juicy is mostly dog friendly and loves running and playing in an offleash park. On leash, she may get defensive with some larger dogs. This will need to be worked on. She has improved tremendously since, so we expect that she will eventually be calm when passing large dogs on leash. The future adopter will need to be consistent and patient to train her. She does love all the trail fun, but beware, she has an innate passion for squirrels! Juicy is a sweet girl who has a bit of quirks, but with the right family, she can be a fun addition to the family!

Her hind legs were injured; one of them went through surgery and the other leg healed on its own. Neither injuries have affected how she walks or runs, and no special attention is needed. Keeping her weight down is strongly recommended.

Juicy was abandoned in a park in Southern Taiwan. When she was found, she was sitting alone at the corner of the park, her head and ears down, seemingly waiting for that person who once loved her to come and take her back home. The rescuer found the previous owner through the microchip registration, and only to confirm the fact that Juicy is now homeless.

Juicy is very loving and affectionate. She loves going for walks at the park, and loves playing with other dogs. Being fostered at a hair salon, she greets all the customers and is very well socialized.

    [post_text_body]

Colin came to Canada at the age of 3 months and was adopted together with another puppy. Colin’s activity demand is higher than originally thought and the family could no longer keep up with his energy level, and is looking to look for a new home for him.

Colin is a happy go lucky doggo and is just the world’s largest cuddler. It’s difficult not to full in love with him. He is still going through a chewing phase where he gets bored of his chewing toys and would want to move on to the shoes. He’s generally quiet unless he gets excited when playing with other dogs. Colin can be a little pushy when he wants to play but another dog simply has no interest in him. Although there is never aggression, many  adult dogs, mostly smaller breeds in the dog park find his invitation to play annoying. Colin is very food driven – which makes obedience training easier. He has wonderful recall skills and will do well in hiking trails.

Colin was rescued with his sibling Coy after their mother was trapped by a snapping animal trap and passed away. Fortunately the rescuer spotted the mother and the pups in time, and rescued all of them.

Meesha is a super mellow pup who is up for anything that is “fun!” She loves people, loves food, but doesn’t get too hyper that she knocks everyone over. She’s very curious. She will navigate and smell everything, and comes back to check in with her human. She loves people and is super calm at the vet. She’s so easygoing that she let her foster parents in Vancouver emerge her in lake water by just holding her!

Meesha and Garfy were found together by the locals and reported into the shelter.

Loves dogs and cats, but can be a little slow to warm to certain stranger dogs. Extremely interested in small animals. Does not guard food and will eat anything, fast.  He enjoys being petted a lot, but will leave his hooman alone. He is slightly on the more destructive side, but will improve if given proper exercises and chew toys. Not afraid of loud noises at all. Loves playing, and is very fitted in a multi-dog environment.  Alpha hates being crated. Knows basic commands to sit and lie down. He can also wait for food. He understands that No means not yet, and Ok means he can eat. Loves giving paws. He knows how to open sliding doors.  When he’s too excited, he will jump his hoomans.  [/post_text_body] Adoption Application Adoption Fee Foster Opportunity
