Roobio was found on the streets with heavy traffic with a lot of people walking by every day. According to the locals, Roobio was abandoned with her siblings, however, her siblings were nowhere in sight when Roobio was picked up by the rescuers. Unfortunately, we do not know where her neck wound came from. Roobio was timid when she was first rescued, but with love and medical attention, she started to show affection towards people. Roobio is suitable in a household with low to medium energy.

Kaichi was rescued together with her brother from the shelter in Central Taiwan. Maybe it was because the competition for food and resources was too fierce that Kaichi and her brother were malnourished and unhealthy when they were pulled out from the shelter. With time and patience, Kaichi quickly learned to trust. She’s very food driven perhaps due to her experience in the shelter. Kaichi is quite submissive in nature and will follow another confident dog at home if there is one. At times her curiosity overtakes her biological needs of going potty, and she may need to be guided to smell other dogs’ pee or to see other dogs’ go to be reminded to potty.

Maxia was found in the backcountry in the mountain area. The rescuers suspect that Maxia only lived in the mountain for a short period of time. When the rescuers found her, Maxia was wagging her tail to greet them. She shows excitement in meeting strangers, cats and dogs! Maxia is extremely friendly and is suitable for a household that is medium to high energy.

Suka is very outgoing and is quite a character. She loves certain neighbors and will wait at a certain spot for the neighbor to come out and play with her. She will not pee and poop at the same spot. After peeing, she will need to walk to a different spot to poop. She loves watching TV with the foster mother on the couch cuddling. Suka also likes prancing and hopping like a bunny. If there’s a place she wants to go, she will make you go there. If the foster mother insists on going a different direction, she would sit and refuses to go.

Archee is rescued from the shelter. He was malnourished, has matted hair, and does not have a vocal cord. We suspect that Archee was surrendered to the shelter by the puppy mill. He is loving, mellow, fit into any households with low to medium energy.

Puro was found with a leash on him wondering near a convenient store at aoud 6 am. The foster mother was worried that he might get hit by a car, so she rushed home to put the dogs away and came back to get Puro. This time he was chained to a post and playing with another Poodle (Buzzer). It appears that both of them were abandoned at the same time. After inquiring around he neighbourhood, they learned that Puro was abandoned 5 days ago with a note attached to him. The residents moved him around because they did not want to deal with a stray dog. 

Puro is very loving although he can appear to be dominant to other dogs when moved to a new environment. He is very secure and he can really sleep! Even with the highway construction outside of the window, he could sleep belly up, snoring like a pig!

Tin-tin, Min-min, Lin-lin and Pin-pin were abandoned by the bushes in a parking lot. It seems like someone attempted to feed the pups but the food placed beside them was infested with red ants. Some puppies already got bitten by the ants. The puppies couldn’t have survived if left there for long, so the rescuers took them home and attempt to home them.
