Bambi was found by the rescuer when she was on vacation in the north east mountain in Taiwan. The rescuer met Bambi when she lost her way to the restaurant. What’s interesting is the rescuer’s baby kept pointing at Bambi and wanted to approach her. Bambi “guided” the rescuer to the restaurant calmly without barking. The rescuer decided to rescue Bambi and find her a home.

Bambi appears to be shy to strangers at first possibly because she lived at a place where stray dogs were not welcomed. The locals constantly use sticks and brooms to drive away the dogs. Bambi is obedient and smart. She learned all the commands in a heart beat, and is very cuddly once she trusts you.

Bambi is extremely athletic outdoors. She loves running and chasing balls! What’s best is she has perfect recall skills. She’s generally friendly towards dogs but can from time to time nip the resident dogs to establish her place at home. She will do best in an active household with no cats and with a dog that is assertive.
