    Rozza, Romma, Renna and Reppo were found dumped at the remote graveyard without their mother when they were around 1.5 months old. They clung close to each other hoping to get more warmth to survive. Luckily the rescuers spotted them earlier on and brought them in. Romma and Rozza were diagnosed with Parvo. Fortunately this was caught early and they recovered very soon!

    Because the litter was handled by people earlier on in their life stage, they are not skittish. Rozza is the very friendly and extremely affectionate toward people. She is very food driven and will listen any of your commands when there’s food. All puppies play very well together and they will only hide if a very large dog approaches them.

    Being a Formosan Mountain dog cross, they will grow to a medium size dog around 20kg and of a border collie size. Due to the intelligent, sensitive, and active nature of the breed, Rozza will do best in a family that has a medium to high energy life style.

    When the rescuer was driving through the mountain in a hot day in April, she spotted a dog lying by a busy road on the side walk. The rescuer thought  the dog was dead so she quickly parked the car, only to find the “dead” dog stood up, and came to her wagging tails. Nova followed the rescuer onto her car and just got rescued just like that! Nova is very loving, social, and adaptable. She always carries a smile that brightens the foster’s day!

    Canello was abandoned by the puppy mill. Being caged all his life for breeding, we do not recommend crate training except in the beginning for potty training. Canello loves people and can play with dogs of all sizes. Being a puppy mill dog, he might take some time to get potty trained in the beginning.

    Thor was found dumped on the mountain emaciated in Central Taiwan. He was lying under a tree when he was found. Thor is super gentle and loving! He can be quiet at home, but can also take the high energy walks and hikes. He’s very dog friendly and can play like a puppy anytime! He also walks very well on leash and is potty trained. He does not guard his food with dogs or people. After finishing his own food, he will move on to the next bowl.

    Midas was found on the street after being hit by a car. Fortunately, the city shelter director passed by and rescued him. Midas was sent to a specialist to operate on his leg. His leg has since healed and the injury did not affect his movement. Midas loves people and is very gentle. He loves playing chase with dogs and is potty trained. In the foster in Taiwan, he gets 2 big walks per day and some pee breaks in between.
