If this is the first time you have met Kala, she’d seem like that girl in the classroom who’s shy and reluctant to express her opinions. If you have hung out with her for a while, you see that she’s actually that naughty miss popular who loves rough play! She loves hanging around the foster mother like sticky Japanese mochi. Unlike some extroverted pooches, she is quiet, gentle around children, cats and other small animals.
Kala was found on a deserted mountain range in Northern Taiwan along with her sister. They were found covered in fleas, malnourished, and with skin conditions. After they were rushed to the hospital, Kala’s sister passed away due to pneumonia the next day, while Kala strongly hung on to her life.
It has been 3 months since Kala arrived in the foster family. Even though she’s only 4.5 months old at the moment, she’s stable, non-nibbly, and barks minimally. As a Formosan Mountain Dog mix, she is expected to grow up to 25kg, around 60cm tall 70 cm long, and will shed only minimally
