The rescuer saw a post on Facebook on March 15 2021 about a tiny little pup alone in an abandoned vegetable farm. He had such sad eyes. The rescuer drove to the vegetable farm and found him. Lucas approached cautiously and took treats from the rescuer’s hand but would not let her touch him. After around 10 minutes, the rescuer finally managed to put the leash on him, and Lucas followed her home without any protests. When Lucas got home, he was so happy to see all the dogs. He’s especially loving towards the cats and wants to play with the kitties all the time. He is still a little cautious with people but could be picked up, cuddled and handled. Lucas is such a sweet, shy, quiet loving boy. We know if given time, he will grow into a confident doggo! The first few days when he was rescued, he’s so malnourished that he pooped only dirt and grass. Such a sweet boy deserves a loving home!
