Marlie

Marlie is a Labrador cross Formosan Mountain Dog who stands 58cm tall 77cm long and weighs 28kg (61.74lb). Her favourite thing to do is going out for walks and saying hi to all them humans; Marlie is a heavier set girl who loves people more than her own kind.

Marlie was abandoned in a newly developed neighbourhood in Central Taiwan. Her people loving nature makes her walk around and greet everyone in the neighbourhood. Because of her size, people become paranoid, many called the animal control and poor Marlie ended up in the shelter.

Marlie is extremely affectionate but is unaware of her own size. She can play a little too rough with smaller animals (i.e. cats) and small children. Because of this, she is most suitable in a home where she’s the only pet in the household and young children free. She also can be a little stubborn during walks. If there is something that she wants to check out and sniff, she will not walk until she finishes her doggie investigation. Marlie is on the heavier side of the scale but fortunately she loves exercises, so will fit best in a family who has an active lifestyle with preferably a yard.
