Missa is a 5.5 months old introverted girl who is obedient, friendly, and quiet. Despite of her submissive nature, she interacts and socializes very well with other dogs. Although she can be somewhat jittery and shakey when meeting new people, she lets people pet her and opens up after a while. She is also gentle with children and other small animals.
Missa was found on a deserted mountain range in Northern Taiwan along with 3 other siblings. Not only were they covered in fleas, malnourished, but also manifested with corneal edema. According to the initial assessment, if Missa’s eyes don’t respond after 2 weeks of medication, the chances of recovery is slim. Fortunately, her eyes are improving just a few days after being on the eyedrops and she’s expected to have a full recovery!
It has been 3 months since Kala arrived in the foster family. Even though she’s only 5.5 months old, she’s stable, non-nibbly, and barks minimally. As a Formosan Mountain Dog mix, she is expected to grow up to 25kg, around 60cm tall 70 cm long, and will shed only minimally.
