Sully’s story starts in Taiwan, where she lived on the streets. It seems like she used to belong to a family, but life wasn’t easy for her. She might have been kept in a crate for a long time, trying to escape by chewing the bars. Eventually, she ended up abandoned, or escaped her harsh life.
When rescuers found her, Sully was in bad shape. She was skinny, with an injured eye and broken teeth. But despite her rough past, she’s a sweet and loving dog.

With care and treatment, Sully’s physical wounds healed, but she lost sight in one eye and some of her teeth. However, her kind personality remained unchanged.

Now, Sully is adjusting to a comfy bed and gentle handling. She’s looking for a home filled with love and patience, where she can be herself. In the beginning though she might need a some help because of her sight.  At times, Sully is ok on her own but she prefers to be close to her hoomans or fellow doggy companion.

Sully gets along well with other dogs, children. Sully prefers a gentle touch near her head. She’s shown herself to be incredibly clever, picking up commands such as recall quickly; she’s a smart girl who’s eager to learn and play.

She’s also good at letting you know when she needs to go potty. With her wornderful spirit and curious nature, she’s ready for the next chapter in her life—a forever home where she can be happy and loved.

Both Purdy and Maxim are Formosan Cross small breed terrier (mother). The small breed terrier was kept in a cage for all 10 years of her life. The only time that she was tether out, she was in heat, and got pregnant at 10 years old. The rescuer could only recover Maxim and Purdy and the owner of the mother dog has given other puppies away.

The sisters are both affectionate and full of energy! Maxim is a beautiful medium hair girl! At the age of 4 months, they are barely at 4 kg. Both are extremely food driven. Due to the size of their mother, we think they will be at most a small medium size dog, if not smaller.

    Cat Friendly: Not cat friendly.

    [post_text_body]

In the shelter since 2016. The rescuer subsequently took her out in 2019. She’s very cuddly and affectionate but can also hang out quietly beside her human. She is very people friendly and sometimes gets too excited when meeting little children. She loves her walks and exercises, and she will need to lose some weight to be healthy. In the foster’s home, there’s a man and a woman, and approximately 38 other dogs, small and medium sized.

Hope just arrived in Vancouver! She’s extremely affectionate and is not afraid of men at all. She generally walks well on a leash except some occasional stubbornness. When playing with other dogs, Hope is a little socially awkward. She does a very rough dominance play with other dogs and may need to be supervised at first.
