Bofi was found in a hot summer day around noon. The rescuer spotted her little body struggling to walk in a straight-line. When the rescuer rushed to Bofi, they couldn’t believe how she was even standing. Not only was she skin and bones, she had several large lacerations throughout her body, and hundreds of larvae on her neck feasting on her flesh. The rescuer carefully took Bofi into her arm; as if she knew now she’s in a safe place, Bofi collapsed as she was rushed to the hospital.
Brave and strong Bofi made her recovery and transformed into a beauty she is now. Her specialty is lying on her back, waving both of her front paws asking for treats. She tolerates dogs but absolutely adores human. As a dachshund, she should never be picked up vertically which puts pressure on her spine. She needs to watch her weight and minimize stair climbing.
