You might never meet another puppy as loving, fun, and intelligent as Tyra! Mastered her sit in 10 min, and stay 5 min after her sitting session, she heels and follows well. Adjusted to a harness in 5 minutes, and peed pad training in 2 days. She loves anything that is moving, kids, people, men, women, dogs! Perhaps she has too much love in her, she can be a bit too excited for the kitties. Living with a kitty who thinks he’s a dog, Tyra plays with him like he’s another puppy!
One day, the rescuer’s neighbour brought in a black puppy after their last one got run over by a car. The rescuer had repeatedly coaching her neighbour to put the dog on leash to prevent another tragedy, but the neighbour ignored the advice. After discovering that someone has been putting out rat poison filled chicken around the area with intent to harm the stray dogs, the rescuer went to the owner and express concern. The owner said indifferently, “Ah! That’s why she’s been puking green fluids and having violent diarrhea!” The rescuer asked to take over Tyra, and the owner just gave her up.
Tyra loves her humans and her kitty she’s living with. She likes to sneak in a light chew on his tail when he walks by. Tyra is extremely smart and open to training. Being a Formosan Mountain Dog mix, Tyra is expected to grow up to 16kg, around 65cm tall and 65cm long. Tyra can fit into any homes with medium to high energy, with kids or without kids.
