Mara is one happy, healthy girl who loves everyone! She’s so healthy that she’s a frequent blood donor at the animal hospital helping those in need! She was thrown at the door step of the private shelter with her sister when she was only 3 months old. Mara’s sister was adopted locally very quickly, leaving Mara waiting for her furever home. It has been 2 years since, and Mara has adapted very well!
Currently living with 40 dogs, Mara is a natural when it comes to doggo socialization. She is pleasant, not pushy and very playful. Her caretaker is a male, hence she has no fear towards men or women. Being a frequent blood donor, she is calm and friendly even at the vet! Mara loves the outdoor and we can just see her ruling all the BC trails! On a low day, she will also enjoy a fetching session in the backyard or local dog park. Being a Formosan Mountain Dog, Mara is a medium size medium energy dog that can relax at home but also meet up with a high energy dynamic lifestyle. She has a short coat that sheds minimally and only seasonally.
