When we first saw Darya’s pictures, we were blown away by how cute she is! Really look at those fluffy ears! Shy Darya is very sociable with dogs and affectionate with humans especially with food present. At the sweet age of 3.5 months, she is whiny and nibbly, and incredibly cute! We can already imagine all the wonderful time with this babe playing fetch and stroking her fluffy ears!
Darya was part of a litter born by a street dog by the busy road in the bushes. The rescuers passed by the bushes and saw the playful puppies running around right next to the busy road and Darya was one of them. They had to pick the puppies up before an accident happens! Darya is playful but does not like to be handled or cornered. Her reaction would be screaming and barking but is not aggressive. She needs to be distracted when given the booster shots or she’d wiggle like an earthworm to escape. These behaviours can be corrected quite easily with proper training and confidence!
Currently stands 43cm tall, 48cm long, and weighs 6kg, Darya is expected to grow up to 75cm tall, 85cm long and 25kg. Given the adaptive nature of the breed Formosan Mountain Dog, she can do well in medium to high energy lifestyles. She will also have a short coat that sheds minimally and requires little grooming.
