Sprite has floppy ears, symmetrical markings, and has potential to be a mellow and calm walking companion. She is very sociable, and can be a great dog for first-time dog owners!
Sprite was found with three of her siblings (Dr Pepper, Gingerale and Fanta) and her mother. The rescuers waited until the mother finished nursing the young to trap and spay her. They subsequently placed the puppies into foster homes and took them to various adoption events. However, due to the locals’ preference of dog breeds, none of them were adopted successfully.
Sprite is slow to warm up with other dogs, but has great independence. As a Formosan Mountain Dog cross, Sprite will grow up to be a medium size dog around 18 kg and around 60cm tall. The breed is medium energy and can keep up with an active lifestyle. She has short hair and will only shed seasonally and minimally.
