Sunny, like his name, is happy, perky, and simply delightful. Only 5 years young and full of energy. His yorkie face just bring sunshine to any of your gloomy days! He would just enjoys any showers of attention and preferably with a little bit (lots) of food! Sunny is sociable, affectionate, and approachable and a total snugger!

Sunny is a typical pure breed Yorkshire who is smart, active and thirst for attention. That is why when he was left alone at home, isolated when his owner was repeatedly arrested and detained in jail, he has develop some insecurities over the years. Sunny was subsequently re-homed then surrendered because the new adopter got married, pregnant, and could not make time for Sunny. Because of this history, he would bark for attention and praises, and we deduced his indoor marking behaviour is due to this insecurity. Interestingly, he has no separation anxiety and mostly just wants to mark his territory and ask for showers of attention. He’s currently wearing a belly band indoors to assist with his marking behaviour. Also because of the improper care of the previous owners, Sunny had dislocated both of his knees, which are operated on and healed. He is not on any medications and can be put on glucosamine supplements but is completely optional.

As a Yorkshire Terrier, Sunny is an active, alert dog with a hypoallergenic coat. He will need regular hair trims as needed but will not shed. Like most small breed dogs, they need lots of attentions and stimulation. Sunny needs a good owner who can help him gain his security and confidence back again. Would you be Sunny’s forever love and companion?
