Yupz, 5 year old Winkie is your dream pom, hands down. Look at him! The one eye boy is winking at ya 27/4, how can you not be the happiest person on earth! This petite white pom brings the tropical sunshine from Taiwan to snowy Vancouver. He has his stubborn feisty pom in him, and also every drip of cuteness. Affectionate, sociable and surprisingly quiet, he will make an excellent apartment pet for low to medium energy lifestyle!
Exactly how Winkie lost his eye, we don’t know. He was rescued and living in a private dog shelter along with 40 other small animals. Because of the humid climate on the tropical mountain, his food are often manifested with mildew, and his skin condition as less than ideal even though he was quite happy where he was. Individual fellow rescuer took Winkie to the city and hope his coat will improve with proper nutrients and drier climate and it did! Perfectly fluffy and loaded with cuteness, Winkie is ready for that forever home!
One big thing for Winkie though is his fear of pain. He hates taking his vaccines especially on his right front leg and paw. He would lightly nibble on your hand not to hurt to to warn you to stop. He will also need daily brushing to avoid matting and possible pain when pulling the hair. He can also nibble lightly when too excited so will recommend to be in a household with older children or mature adults only.
